What tests do I need to purchase?

Every traveller entering the UK from a country not on the UK's travel red list will need to take a PCR test within 48 hours of arrival (a Day 2 test).  While you are waiting for a result you must self-isolate. You may stop self-isolating if you are vaccinated and your test is negative.

If you are not fully vaccinated and you are over 18, you will need to also take a test on or after day eight following your arrival (in addition to the Day 2 test) and continue to self-isolate at home for a total 10 days after arrival. Test to Release is also an option for unvaccinated passengers arriving in England who want to shorten their quarantine.

Where do I find my booking reference?

Your PCR tests must be booked before you travel so that you can enter your booking reference on you passenger locator form (PLF). You must fill in a PLF no less than 48 hours before your arrival.

After purchasing your kits you will receive two emails from Cellmark. The first email confirms receipt of your order. The purpose of the second email is to:

  1. provide you with your unique Cellmark booking reference(s) which you are required to enter on your passenger locator form,
  2. provide you with a link to our 'Travel Information form' which you'll need to complete before we can send you your kits. Cellmark needs to collect this information in compliance with public health legislation and so that it can be passed on with the result of your test to the UK Health Security Agency.
